The CSS 203 allows the monitoring of the presence of the Audio modulation. Placed in insertion on an audio connection, it authorizes the monitoring on two symmetric stereo sources (not simultaneously) towards a symmetric stereo output.

It possesses two sections, the one controlling the presence of modulation and the other one controlling the phase between the left channel and the right channel. In case of problem, the CSS 203 automatically falls over on a source of outside saving after a programmable time ; the time of return is also programmable. In "ALARM" mode, the CSS 203 supplies several allowing contacts, on one hand to inform about the type of activated alarm (absence of modulation or error of phase), and on the other hand to start help distribution machines.
